New Local Plan for Thurrock

What is a Local Plan and why is it particularly important to us - It sets out the future land use and planning policies for the borough over a set timeframe. It identifies the need for new homes and jobs and the services and infrastructure to support them. It also guides where the development should happen.

If you live here and want to tell Thurrock Council a bit more about what this place is like and how you would want to see it improved. Thurrock Council encourage you to sign up to thurrock.gov.uk/say and fill in the Your Place, Your Voice survey which will be launching in January 2024.
